Studying in Canada – Requirements

The tuition for studying in Canada is slightly higher than the average tuition fees in the United States. The work permit is valid for a specific period of time after which it expires. If you decide to stay in Canada longer than the six-month work permit is valid, you will have to get a permanent resident card. This card is also referred to as the Canada Immigration Visa. If you become eligible for Canadian citizenship, you will have to obtain a passport and then apply for a permanent resident card.
